The following exercises will reinforce the concepts covered
in the word processing tutorial.
- After reading an article about TekXam you have decided to create a document
that summarizes the facts contained in the article. Formatting will be required.
Charts and graphics will be included in the document.
- You will create a resume suitable to be submitted with a job application.
- A help-wanted advertisement will be provided. From the information provided,
you will prepare a letter of application.

of their choice.

Numeric Data
Candidates analyze raw data, draw conclusions, create a spreadsheet,
graph pertinent data and then export the data to another application.
Module 5: Word Processing - Communicating Data
Candidates create a document using word processing software,
incorporating tables and graphs from another application.

- Edit, summarize and format the information in the file for improved readability.

Successful candidate must work well with others and be able to communicate

of networks.
Must possess valid teaching license or a bachelor’s degree with successful,
verifiable experience in training adult learners in the use of computer
software.
Preferred:
Experience as a classroom trainer at the high school or adult level. Ability
to create and maintain web pages. Working knowledge of HTML.
